My name is David, I am 28 years old and I live in Prague. Five years ago my doctor prescribed me Lexapro for generalized anxiety disorder and panic attacks. He didn't listen to me when I said I wanted more cognitive behavioural therapy. He claimed the drug was free of side effects. After the first pill I was experiencing terror, I lost the ability to think, feel emotions, things felt like a bad dream. My body began to break down, akathisia, pain, memory loss, sexual dysfunction and orthostatic hypotension appeared.

The doctor then put me on Trazodone, after which I stopped smelling and my nervous system literally collapsed. I found myself in a difficult life situation, losing my job, home and family support. I had to work at a gas station in sometimes 16-hour shifts to survive. I invested all my money in my studies and my own treatment. Unfortunately, my doctor mistakenly sent me for thyroid surgery because my thyroid had grown "for no reason". After years of research, I have helped many people recover from similar conditions, but I don't have the funds to treat myself.

So I'm asking for help

I currently weigh 48 kg, my veins are huge, I have trouble walking and I have no funds for medication that can help me. My family no longer supports me and I have no other option.
