This is a call to ACTION for YOU, to make a real difference – saving a LIFE.

Our dear friend Filipe lost everything. His Mother passed, his Father got ill, lost his job, separated from his wife. He found himself homeless, living in the streets of Lisbon – scared, overwhelmed and dominated by addiction. He nearly died and ended up in the hospital, where he was given 8 days to live and the empty promise of a rehab waitlist. After two weeks, he was back on the streets. This is when he called us, asking for HELP.  

He was admitted into a private rehab program, that family and friends gathered funds for.

Two months of hard work and outstanding therapists.

Then he stayed 3 weeks in a B&B, doing remote therapy. He uncovered a completely new LIFE in the countryside.

The initial funds have now been spent and we are coming to YOU for HELP.

We are raising 12000 Euros so we can keep SUPPORTING Filipe at this critical time in his new LIFE - the funds will go towards therapy and accommodation, while our friend gradually builds a new, autonomous, sustainable life.  

He started volunteering at a farm. The next STEP will be a part-time job and a veggie garden. He is confident in his sobriety, as are we. He can count on the loving support from his community.
