Although he has not yet turned 8, the young chess player knows what he wants, planning to become one of the world’s top 10 grandmasters, with his dream being to become World Champion.

To fulfil his ambitions, junior David Christian Talabă knows he will have to work very hard and progress step by step in his career.

Thus, in the second half of 2025, the junior will take part in the European Union Championship in the Czech Republic and the European Championship in Montenegro in the U8 category, and in 2026, David plans to participate in at least five international tournaments.

David’s motto is: “Chess is played with the mind but played from the heart!”

Alongside the efforts and hard work of the young chess player, who is always supported by his coaches and family, competitive chess needs friends to support and help.

And YOU can be one of those who promote and support competitive chess through David Christian Talabă.
