Since my operation on 14 October, I have deliberately taken a break to recover from the stresses and strains and to recharge my batteries for the radiotherapy that starts in January. I am infinitely grateful for the great support I have received at Villach Regional Hospital - both from the doctors and the empathetic team who have been with me. The psychological support from Krebshilfe also gives me support during this difficult time.
Many thanks to the Lions Club Villach, which helped me without any red tape. Thanks to the social worker at the LKH, my health insurance has also been sorted out and I will receive sickness benefit for the next few months. Unfortunately, this barely covers my housing costs and is not enough for all the necessary expenses.
As applications for financial support are often tied to long waiting periods or earlier income limits, it remains a challenge to cover our monthly costs. I am therefore infinitely grateful for any emergency aid that supports us over the next few months.

Dear friends and family,
I would like to ask for your support today as I am in a very difficult and unexpected situation. After being diagnosed with breast cancer, the ground was pulled out from under my feet and I unfortunately had to cancel all my planned yoga courses and training sessions that were due to start in autumn. This not only put me under great emotional strain, but also financially. The diagnosis has turned my life completely upside down and while I am doing everything I can to focus on recovery, the loss of my main source of income is very difficult for me.
As I am currently unable to work due to the illness and treatment, I am reliant on financial support to get through the coming months and fund the necessary treatments.
What makes it particularly difficult for me is that I was already struggling with a chronic illness, endometriosis, from the end of 2020 until spring 2023. This period was very exhausting and demanding - both physically and mentally. After almost three years of intensive treatments and restrictions, I finally had a phase last year in which I felt relatively well. Unfortunately, I hardly had any time to gather resources or strength to overcome this new challenge.
As I am currently unable to work due to the ongoing treatments and I lack a financial basis due to the cancellation of yoga classes, I have launched this fundraising campaign. Any amount, no matter how small, will help me enormously to get through the upcoming months and the necessary medical treatments.
I am deeply grateful for any form of support - be it a donation, sharing this appeal or simply loving thoughts and positive energy.
