Description
The “JK Mežezeri” Association is a charity that visits elderly people, children and adults with special needs throughout Latvia with horses and ponies. We visit hospitals, social care centres, care homes and other such places.
Our little three-month-old pony, Pepita, has already managed to bring people many beautiful and heart-warming moments in her first few months of life. Now it is our turn to be there for her.
Following a sudden bout of severe colic, Pepita is currently in the inpatient ward at the Latvian University of Biosciences and Technology Clinic, where she is receiving treatment, undergoing tests and being closely monitored by vets.
This treatment is incurring unexpected and significant costs for our charity. We are asking for your help to cover the costs of Pepita’s treatment and to stand by her during this time.
