When we found Bella, she was lying by the side of the road — scared, starving, and in terrible pain. Someone had abandoned her after a serious injury to her back leg. Despite the agony she was in, her tail still wagged when we gently approached. She trusted us — even after all she had been through.

A vet examination confirmed our worst fears: Bella’s leg was too damaged to save. The only option to give her a pain-free life was amputation.

Bella is just two years old. She has her whole life ahead of her — a life full of belly rubs, sunny naps, and walks (on three legs!). But her surgery, post-op care, and rehabilitation come with costs we simply can’t cover alone.
