The situation is a little critical.

I would like to start a funding to fix my mother’s house.

We are living together and there seems to be no way out.

My mother is over 60 and doesn’t work anymore. I do have a steady job, but the bank doesn’t allow me to take out a loan because the house is on my mother’s name.

I don’t have my own place either and we are kind of stuck in this.

What makes the whole story critical, is the fact that the house is very old and was sold to us with a lot of invisible or untold flaws.

We feel like we have been fooled.

The house seems like it’s giving its last breath because of the state it is in and the problems that are arising.

We once, almost 10 years ago invested on fixing the facade because it got a lot of cracks, and the isolation was very bad with the cold coming in.

This cost us a lot of money almost 10k however it didn’t change much on the problematic of the cracks and the cold coming in.

It’s very bad luck that every time we hire people to come fix things it doesn’t end up well.

The attic is not finished because they never came back to finish it.

I can’t remember the last time we had hot water and general heating.

We recently hired someone to fix the boiler heater in the bathroom, which we paid a generous amount too, however the flame keeps turning off and we keep paying every time.

Being set up with incompetent workers is ruining us with time.

The floors are almost made of paper, and I can feel the house moving or trembling when cars pass by.

It wouldn’t surprise me if the house were too collapse, honestly.

I’ve always been wise with my money, but no amount can fix the whole house.

It wouldn’t change much if the bathroom gets fixed because, 1) the house needs to be moved further back by law because it is laid on the “red line”; 2) the whole underground pipes are messed up.

I’m pretty sure we will need to flip the whole house, which requires a significant budget.

Selling the house wouldn’t help much because it won’t worth enough to buy another one.

I feel bad for my mother that she will never have a comfortable place to enjoy the rest of her time on earth.

When she bought the house, she didn’t have the right people around her and she wasn’t prepared for these problems.

Mind you, she doesn’t have a room and has been sleeping in the living room this whole time.

My room is pretty much the hallway where everyone passes through to get from one place to another… great for my own privacy.

It’s a desperate cause to my opinion because I am affected by it too. I’m over 30 and there will never be an occasion for me to invest in having my own place as I have to consider my mothers comfort too.

It is definitely difficult to almost impossible to do things on your own financially these days.

I never crowdfunded but we desperately need to find a way to get out of this.
