Description
I’m running this fundraiser because I’d love to treat my two autistic sons, aged 17 and 21, to a little trip for Christmas. Unfortunately, I can’t afford to do it myself.
It’s been over 10 years since we were able to treat ourselves to something like that on our own.
It certainly doesn’t have to be anything grand; I was thinking more along the lines of perhaps a night in a hotel with lots of cosy family time or something similar.
The boys love it when we do things together, so it’s important for us to do that.
They’ve both had a tough time at school with schools that didn’t understand their needs, and it’s certainly no easier now that they’re about to enter the world of work. They really need a little break to recharge their batteries.
