Description
We find ourselves in a dire situation. We have a massive rent arrears of 16,000 for the premises. Of this, 4,000 has been paid off thanks to the help of donors. The debt was caused by the pandemic, my loss of employment – I still haven’t been able to find a permanent job – and, at the same time, the huge costs of medical treatment and running the animal shelter. At that time, there were over 30 of them. Now there are 12 cats and 4 dogs. We are gradually managing to rehome the cats. We must pay off the debt as soon as possible, as we face the threat of court action and bailiffs. The property management has set a monthly payment of 2,000. This is also beyond our means.
