This year, Christmas spirit turns naughty.

Hi, I'm Tamara, a filmmaker in the, well, making.

So far I've made 4 short films with very low to almost no budget, however I finally decided to do my favorite genre. My film is a longer short film, or rather a series of shorts to be released periodically.

Story: It's Christmas day. Samantha, who hates Christmas, is surrounded by people who love it. No, who obsess over it. Everyone has their own little Christmas obsessions. Everyone but Samantha. How do they all get through the day - who is doomed?

Visuals: while I'm a big fan of dark and gothic and think that plus Christmas makes a great combo, I feel myself leaning into "cheery" visuals - think punk Wes Anderson. Symmetry and brilliant colors.

Theme: Christmas consumerism of course.

VFX: I'm a big fan of 80s horror, naturally, and my love of practical effects stems from that and, yeah okay, Christopher Nolan films. Very excited to splatter blood and make old towels look like guts! Though I'm not planning on spilling anyone's guts, promise.

Music: why Christmas carols!

Characters: now, I have most of my story planned out. My characters are crucial and so far I've spent most of the time on them. No spoilers though! I'll just say, there is an elderly woman who's senile, but occasionally says something cryptic. Her obsession has something to do with sweaters and knitting ;)
