Dear Supporters!

I warmly welcome everyone who takes the time to read my story, and I am grateful in advance for all your attention and support. It is with a heavy heart that I am writing to you now, but I feel that I cannot resolve my situation without help.

In the summer of 2023, a 5 cm tumour was discovered on my right ovary, and unfortunately it was already clear at that point that the disease was at an advanced stage. Chemotherapy helped to slow the progression, but the operation could not take place until January 2024. Due to the extent of the tumour, my ovaries, uterus, peritoneum, sections of my large and small intestines, and part of my diaphragm were removed for medical reasons.

After the surgery, I underwent further chemotherapy and am currently receiving medication. As a BRCA-positive patient, due to a mutation in my DNA, the risk of developing breast cancer is unfortunately around 80%. I am therefore awaiting preventive surgery to reduce this risk; however, the reconstructive surgery that would ensure I retain my femininity is not covered by the National Health Service, so I would have to cover the cost myself.

The past year has placed an extraordinary financial and emotional burden on my family. Although I am now working again, my constant joint pain, which is a side effect of the treatment, limits my ability to work, so unfortunately I cannot take on as much work as would be necessary.

That is why I am turning to you now and humbly asking for your help. Every single contribution, however small, would be a huge help in enabling me to continue fighting for my health and to preserve the last tiny fragments of my womanhood.
