Hello everyone,

This is Stracciatella, she’s about 4 or 5 months old.

She’s a stray cat, but she and her family are part of the neighbourhood. They’re always outside my front door and we all feed them a bit, but obviously they’ve all already found a place in my heart. They’re always there waiting for me!!!

Unfortunately, yesterday she was hit by a car and left without any help, and it was only after several hours that we managed to find her because of her loud cries.

She was rushed to the vet, but her condition is critical!!!

Sadly, she has a broken pelvis, a completely fractured humerus, a fractured femur and a large abdominal hernia caused by the impact.

Fortunately, she made it through the night, but she will undergo surgery shortly…

I didn’t think twice about the vet’s request to proceed, as my only thought is to save her!!!

Alas, the cost is quite substantial given the severity of the injuries.
