One devastating night, my grandparents — an elderly couple, 82 and 80 years old — lost the home they had built over a lifetime. A sudden fire broke out and within moments, everything they owned was gone. Clothes, furniture, memories, keepsakes — all turned to ash.

Thankfully, they made it out alive, along with their loyal dog, Phoebus, who never left their side. We are beyond grateful that they survived, but they are now left with nothing.

For the past four months, they have been trying to rebuild from scratch. The home wasn’t just four walls — it was where they raised two children, welcomed six grandchildren, and one more who chose them as family.

They are doing their best, but at their age, starting over is incredibly difficult — physically, emotionally, and financially. We are asking for your support to help them rebuild their home, their sanctuary, and restore a sense of security in their final years.
