Let me introduce myself. My name is Alex, I am 43 years old, a former nomad, madly in love with freedom, nature, simplicity, and the values of respect and sharing brotherhood...

I travelled for a little over 25 years in many different ways: on foot, by bicycle, hitchhiking, by lorry, by bus, by horse-drawn caravan, on many different paths...

In 2019, I decided to set myself up as a farrier, currently based in La Manche, due to the crazy state of the world we live in today...

I want to start a new project because I have always been keen to combine work and quality of life,

and so I have decided to start the second half of my life. Although I am still in full possession of my faculties, the profession of farrier is not viable forever, as my physical condition is beginning to take its toll...

And so part of this change

is professional.

I plan to develop an extensive horse-drawn caravan tourism project, I should point out...

There will be various possibilities and activities on offer during the trips, most of which will take place around Mont Saint-Michel.

At this stage of the project, I have bought the horse, 🐴 JASPER, a magnificent Norman Cob, a very calm, playful and clever horse, perfect for ensuring a peaceful journey and a relationship with the animal that everyone can enjoy.

It is important to note that something I am particularly passionate about in this project is being able to offer activities to autistic children and children with difficulties, bringing a little carefree fun to those who lose it far too young!

My long experience on the road has taught me a great deal, which now gives me peace of mind when setting off with a group of people under my responsibility.

I have learned to anticipate the problems associated with this lifestyle. I am a jack of all trades, I tinker and repair as much as possible, despite the constraints encountered, and how, despite everything,

All of this allows me today to offer a holiday where people can rediscover that precious lost time we are all chasing after,

all in a rudimentary lifestyle, but one where we rediscover the joy in appreciating simple pleasures, true comfort, and that connection with ourselves that can only be found in nature, with an aperitif punctuated by good humour and joie de vivre,

the warmth of a wood fire, etc.

All this in a comfortable setting made from recycled bricks, some salvaged, some not, but always useful and pleasant!

At the moment,

I have invested in the horse, which was the biggest expense, I have also bought a caravan to renovate and I plan to buy other carts...

As I am the only one behind this project, the problem is that I still need to invest, which is why I am setting up this fund!

Being alone in carrying out this project and inevitably investing a lot more, there are many difficulties to face and I would need a little help.
