Olá pessoal!
Meu nome é Paola Batista e estou aqui para pedir ajuda para meu estado no Brasil. 🇧🇷
O Rio Grande do Sul é o estado onde nasci e agora sofre com as enchentes que iniciaram no fim de abril. Foram muitas chuvas fortes que inundaram quase todo o estado.
Até agora, 450 das 497 cidades do estado foram afetadas, o que representa mais de 2 milhões de pessoas que lutam com esta tragédia.
Alguns números até o momento (14/05):
Pessoas em abrigos: 76.884
Pessoas desalojadas: 538.545
Pessoas afetadas: 2.124.203
Feridos: 806
Desaparecidos: 125
Óbitos confirmados: 147
Pessoas resgatadas: 76.483
Animais resgatados: 11.002
Minha família mora em Porto Alegre, estão todos bem e trabalhando ativamente em uma força-tarefa para ajudar o máximo de pessoas necessitadas com alimentos, suprimentos e resgate das áreas afetadas. Lembrem-se de que essas pessoas que estão em abrigos perderam tudo, não tem para onde ir e estão sobrevivendo apenas de doações.
Se você puder ajudar com qualquer valor já é muito! Toda ajuda é muito necessária e bem-vinda!

I'm Paola Batista and I'm here to ask for help for my state in Brazil. 🇧🇷
Rio Grande do Sul is the state where I was born and is now suffering from the floods that started at the end of April. There were many heavy rains that flooded almost the entire state.
So far, 450 out of 497 cities have been affected, representing more than 2 million people struggling with this tragedy.

People in shelters: 76,884
People out of their houses: 538,545
People affected: 2,124,203
Injured: 806
Missing: 125
Confirmed deaths: 147
People rescued: 76,483
Animals rescued: 11,002
My family lives in Porto Alegre, they are safe and actively working in a task force to help as many people as they can with food, supplies and rescue from the affected areas. Remember that these people in shelters have lost everything, have nowhere to go and are surviving solely on donations.
