I’m going to share a bit about my life here. I bought my house in 2019 and it needed quite a bit of renovation. I had some savings left after paying the deposit, taking out the mortgage, etc. When my small savings ran out, I used my bank’s credit card, then another, then a loan and another and another, and so on until I had 3 loans and 7 credit cards. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. I’m really struggling emotionally; it’s sad to say, at 37, that I’m only happy for a few minutes a day and during my 8-hour working day. Every month I struggle to make ends meet to pay for everything and hide it from my family; the interest and the constant temptation to use the cards again and again have spiralled out of control to this amount. I’m just looking for peace of mind and emotional stability, and to enjoy my family and a normal life with my mortgage, my shopping, my water and my electricity bills. I don’t want any more debts or anything to do with them.
