Description
I see. Here is a longer, professional and compelling description explaining why you need funding, ready for crowdfunding:
Why we need your supportI am the sole creator of the Empire of Crime project and am currently working entirely on my own. This project is my lifelong dream: to create a historical mafia RPG with an authentic world, a cinematic storyline and a realistic open world set in the fictional American city of Now Yorunt between 1923 and 1935.
The game combines psychologically nuanced characters, complex relationships, conflicts between mafia families and a realistic historical setting, which requires time, patience and resources. At the moment, I have an idea, a story and a concept, but I don’t have enough funding to turn these ideas into visual materials and storyboards, which are key to further development and approaching partners or investors.
The funds raised will be used for:
- Concept art and storyboards – so that players and investors can see what the game will look and feel like.
- Visual designs for characters and the city – realistic maps, NPC and interior designs that will help bring the world of Now Yorunt to life.
- Basic licences and software (Unreal Engine 5) – to enable us to start developing a prototype and gradually build a playable world.
- Marketing and promotion of the project – communication with the community and supporters to create an engaging and clear presentation for crowdfunding and future investors.
Without your support, I wouldn’t be able to transform the concept from paper into a visual and playable world that fans of historical games and mafia stories could experience. Every contribution you make not only helps to develop the project, but also allows us to bring to the gaming world a unique combination of drama, a dark atmosphere, controversial themes and an authentic historical setting that you won’t find anywhere else.
Your contribution is therefore crucial for the project’s launch; it will allow me to focus on creating the visual and narrative foundation that will later pave the way for the game’s full development and release on both PC and consoles.
