I am Eleonora, I am 18 years old and dance has been my love since I was three years old. I have a great opportunity in life ahead of me. I have passed the audition to study at the international dance academy Institute of the Arts Barcelona and I am asking for your help in making my biggest dream come true.

Dance has been a part of me since I was a little girl, when I improvised my children's "choreographies" in the living room in my first dance dress, and from the age of three I took my first dance steps on the rhythm in kindergarten. What was then a child's game has become my life path and great passion over the years.

Over the past few years, I have been training at the Wings Dance Studio (under the mentorship of Anja Kadoić), and at the same time I have attended the Franjo Kuhač Music School in Osijek – contemporary dance department. My life since childhood has been between school and the dance hall. Behind me are years of almost daily training, discipline and dedicated work.

I participated in numerous dance competitions and seminars in Croatia and abroad, winning around 90 medals, around 20 cups and special recognitions. Each of these awards is the result of my great love for dance, and my mother sometimes used to say to me: "Ela, you dance almost even when you sleep...".

At the age of twelve, I was given the opportunity to become an assistant choreographer to my coach, which was a great recognition for me and confirmation that hard work, responsibility, and dedication are recognized. With the help of my coach in creating numerous choreographies, I also had the opportunity to choreograph independently.

Today is a great opportunity in life. I passed the audition to study at the international dance academy Institute of the Arts Barcelona, on the BA (Hons) Commercial Dance program, where young dancers from all over the world study.

Studying at this academy is a big step for any young artist, but it also comes with significant costs. As a single mother who has been supporting my education and dance development for years, my mom does her best to help me achieve this opportunity, but the total costs of studying, accommodation, dance equipment, and living for one year amount to approximately 30,000 euros.

That's why I'm starting this campaign to raise some of the funds needed for my first year of studies in Barcelona. The academic year starts in September this year, and financial obligations to the Academy start next month.

I would like to thank everyone who will support my journey and help me continue dancing, learning and creating at the international dance academy Institute of the Arts Barcelona in Barcelona, where young dancers from all over the world are selected through demanding auditions and where only a small number of them get the opportunity to develop their talent at a professional level.

Martha Graham, one of the most influential dancers and choreographers in the history of dance and the founder of modern dance, said that dance is the hidden language of the soul. And I say – through dance I want to tell the world about dreams, work and the love of art.
