Good morning everyone,

I come to you with my heart in my hand to tell you the story of an extraordinary woman, a mother who is fighting with all her might not to lose what she holds most dear: her children.

This young mother has had a hard life, marked by many difficulties. As a child she was placed with a family because her parents were drug addicts. But the foster family never gave her the love and support she needed. Growing up, she tried to build a better life, but fate was often cruel to her.

She became a mother for the first time, but the father of her child, a gambler, never took care of them, leaving them alone. Years later she had a second child from another relationship, but this time too she was left alone to struggle.

Despite everything, this woman has never given up: she works tirelessly between cleaning and online sales, she does everything she can to give her children a decent life. But six months ago, overwhelmed by loneliness and exhaustion, she had a breakdown and tried to end it all. Only the courage of her eldest daughter, who called for help, saved her life.

Now, this brave mother is struggling against a system that does not see her worth, that judges without understanding. Social workers continue to test her, making her feel as if she is never enough. Yet, I know her: she is a strong woman, who loves her children more than anything else in the world.

What I want to do is to help her transform her home into a welcoming, bright place, worthy of the love she has inside. I want to give her the chance to start again, to show others and herself that she can do it.

We need to raise €5,000 to fix up the flat, paint it, buy furniture and clothes for her and the children. But above all we want to give her hope that she is not alone, that there are people who believe in her.
