Description
Hello everyone, my name is Ákos Zsoldos and I live in Budapest
Thanks to a stroke of luck, my brother and I had the opportunity to open a pizzeria back in 2016. It was called Mr. Pizza.
The place was doing well and we saw a future in it, but unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we later had to close it down for good; we went bankrupt.
After that, we all went our separate ways professionally. I didn’t stray too far from food – I became a food delivery driver – whilst my brother started working for a company selling electronic goods and electrical measuring instruments, and he also started a family.
However, the idea of reopening has stayed with us ever since. The only problem is that, as employees, it’s almost impossible to save enough to start again alongside our daily expenses, and my brother prefers to spend his free time with his family and wouldn’t give that up for anything (which is understandable), so I’ve actually been left alone with this idea, as it would require a total commitment and all our time if we were to give it another go. I’m 25, I’ve got my whole life ahead of me, I want to get stuck into it and give it my all.
Once I went to work for another courier company, and that’s where I met Szabi, who told me he wanted to open a darts-themed pizzeria where you could play darts whilst eating the best Italian pizza in Hungary! He knows his way around pizzas and the hospitality business, and so do I.
I’ve always been looking for a partner like the brother I never had, and when I heard this, I immediately felt that I wanted to be part of it – it’s a great plan. He doesn’t know about this fundraising campaign yet; I’d like to surprise him and make our dream come true.
I’ve considered a bank loan, but unfortunately we don’t earn enough to get a substantial amount.
Obviously, having our own place would be best, but a rented space would be perfect to start with.
This place could be called Bullseye Pizza, where you can eat, have a drink, and play in a separate area set apart from guests who just want to eat, so that one group of customers doesn’t accidentally disturb the other.
Szabi and I discussed that it would be best to open the place in Budapest city centre, if we ever get that far.
Given that the venue doesn’t exist yet, I can present my AI-generated concepts to anyone reading this who’d like to help, but once this comes to fruition, I promise regular updates on every single development right up until the venue opens!
So, 4fund community, we’re turning to you now: will you help make two people’s dreams come true at once?
