The game is similar to Monopoly, except that instead of buying plots of land and properties, you buy countries from among the world’s thirty most polluting nations, which are listed on the game board along with their current CO₂ emissions – emissions that have a direct impact on global warming, with the disastrous consequences you are aware of, which are growing day by day. 

The aim of the game, through the use of bonuses, taxes and other actions that increase or decrease CO2 levels, is to have the lowest total CO2 emissions from the countries you own by the end of the game. I hope that, whilst having fun with family or friends, this will raise awareness not only among the players but also among our leaders, who regularly hold large, very costly international meetings—which we indirectly pay for—to produce fine resolutions that are 

have little or no real impact. The most reluctant are, above all, the biggest polluters: China and the United States, with the infamous Trump, who thinks only of his wallet and, despite his ‘America First’ motto—which, in my opinion, he should change to ‘Trump First’—couldn’t care less about global warming and deliberately ignores the global catastrophe unfolding slowly but surely.

I hope that many of you will join my project, for we are all, willingly or not, responsible for the situation and for what we will leave to our descendants of our beautiful planet, which can still be saved if each of us, at our own level, does what is necessary.
