Description
Hello. My name is Alexander and I am a freelance screenwriter and director. I am raising funds to produce a short film in memory of my father – the renowned writer and screenwriter Alexander Tomov (1944–2020) – based on one of his stories. My team and I are fully prepared to begin pre-production on the film once the necessary funds have been secured. The project offers sponsors cultural capital and high prestige, associating them with Bulgaria’s cinematic and literary heritage.
The idea and aim of the film are to honour the memory of one of Bulgaria’s greatest screenwriters and writers – Alexander Tomov (1944–2020). Over 12 feature-length films have been made based on his screenplays. Many of them are iconic in Bulgarian cinema and feature renowned Bulgarian actors such as Todor Kolev, Ivan Ivanov, Hristo Shopov, Itsko Fintzi, Katya Paskaleva, Vasil Mihaylov and others.
