Hello

My name is Anastasios Rodopoulos and I am a writer and self-publisher of the books I create . My love for books constantly leads me to new paths of writing and completion .

From a very young age I felt the need to record my thoughts on white paper as the thoughts in my mind were constantly multiplying and rattling around . There were many times when I would sit and think writing stories on pieces of paper that were supposedly true and top secret . My imagination was very big and what I liked was to create characters which I then played as. As I grew older I began to write down my thoughts more systematically and methodically but I was afraid to recount them and disclose them to others for fear of ridicule and mockery. Imagine that neither my parents themselves , nor my brothers and sisters knew about my anxiety to write.

Movies were for me a refuge , my oasis in the desert where I would lose myself in adventure and intrigue . My first amateur attempt at writing was during the time I was studying in the city of Kozani but unfinished . There I tried to write what else ? A detective adventure which I finished the first part of after ten years. The documents came into my hands quite by accident while moving and opening the boxes I discovered my lost treasure. I will not forget that day ! It was a rainy day and very exhausting as moving for those who have done it know it is a killing ... Anyway as I was putting away boxes I wanted to open the fateful one that said memories of Kozani . A shiver flooded my body as if a current ran through me while my excitement was great as I was surprised to find my first textbook that I thought I had lost . That was it, the spark was lit again in me and now the rot in my system was eating away at me daily to finish it ... And so it happened , within three hours I had read the text and had made a rough skeleton of characters and story . I didn't want to change anything from what had been written although there were signs to the contrary I respecting myself ten years earlier I continued from there . The story came out relatively soon within five or six months but it was never finished ! Not until I am currently finishing the second and final part of it respecting my audience after several years who keep telling me that I left something in the middle ! I feel the same way and that is why I promise to continue the end of the story .

All these years that followed I never stopped writing , so I have created some rudimentary writing which I have the pleasure and joy to share now with people who love my writing and care about my stories .

At this time I feel so active that I want to create a new publishing house within our country Greece for writers who either don't have the desire to search like I do and self-publish , or don't have the financial ability to get some of their work out there , or have been censored , or other publishers have not shown interest in the stories they want to present . In my publishing house this will never happen ! That is the goal and that is what I will strive for all of us .

When we talk about goals we can talk for hours , plan and analyze indicators and parameters. Without wanting to bore anyone who may be reading this article at the moment, I would like to briefly mention some goals that may be realistic .

If the idea is realized then we can talk about the realization of the primary idea which is none other than the realization of a new publishing house with more benefits for the author himself and by extension for his works .

1. The purpose of this donation is to raise the necessary funds for the establishment of a new publishing house in Greece with different characteristics.

2. With the collection of the necessary funds begins the search for a suitable place to house the publishing house . ( Specifically the place I want to identify in northern Greece and specifically in the city of Thessaloniki ) .

3. With the finding of suitable space begins the process of establishing the company with the appropriate legal form .

4. Purchase of necessary professional equipment.

5. The next step is to start staffing the company with competent and experienced staff full of enthusiasm for work and creation .

6. Create social media appropriately structured to the modern needs of the publishing .

7. Connecting distribution channels with bookstores and wholesalers .

8. Creation and configuration of a special area for presentations .

9. Creation of a youtube channel

10. Presentation of the new company in the media to authors and readers .

11. Configuration of a studio for audio recordings of books and fairy tales ( Later )

12. Creation of an internet station to showcase authors and special shows ( Later )

13. Creation of bookstores ( First phase in the city of Thessaloniki , Second phase in northern Greece and Athens , Third phase expansion to the rest of Greece ) / Later

14. Creation and possibility of presentations abroad and especially to the Greek expatriates everywhere as well as foreign culture .
