Meet Abeer -

We are three sisters and one brother who lost our mother at an early age. After her passing, our grandparents became our only support, caring for us with love and kindness. Sadly, we also lost them in the middle of the war, leaving us alone with no guardian and no home to protect our childhood and dreams.

Before the war, I had a job and we lived a calm and stable life. We had a sense of safety and security, but everything changed when the war began. Now there is no safety, no stability, and we have lost our home along with the life we once knew.

Today, we live in a simple tent that cannot shield us from the heat of summer or the cold of winter. Even the bathroom we use is not ours - we have to walk a long distance to reach it, and we cannot afford to build a private one. As for food, we rely on meals from the charity kitchen, which do not come every day. With the overcrowding and chaos, the food often runs out before we get our share. On days when the kitchen does not reach us, we remain without food, since everything is very expensive - even firewood for cooking is scarce and costly.

We endure this suffering day by day, holding on to each other despite the pain and loss. Your support could give us a glimmer of hope in this darkness and a chance for the dignified life we have been deprived of.
