To draw attention to the situation in the Middle East and, at the same time, provide financial support to the refugee centre in Deir Mar Elian, Syria.You will be supporting the construction of a clinic at the Deir Mar Elian centre in Qaryatayn, in the Homs region. What is needed above all is the furnishing and technical equipment for the clinic’s rooms (ultrasound and electrostimulation devices, portable infrared lamps, therapy tables, treatment tables) for the elderly, the sick, the disabled and, in particular, civilians wounded in the war, who are in great need and require treatment and rehabilitation. This project is the first step in this region, which unfortunately needs many more healthcare projects.

A 24-hour rowing marathon, held on 20–21 March 2024 at the premises of the Faculty of Theology of the Technical University on Kostolná Street in Bratislava, was organised to draw attention to the situation in the Middle East and, at the same time, to provide financial support to the refugee centre in Deir Mar Elian, Syria. The original goal was to raise 10,000 euros for the refugee clinic, which we achieved.At the request of many donors who would still like to contribute, we will continue fundraising via the donation portal until May.The entire sum will go towards supporting the Deir Mar Elian healthcare centre.
