Description
In September 2024, devastating floods hit the northeastern part of the Czech Republic. Many towns and villages were completely destroyed or largely submerged, including our hometown of Ostrava. My friend Monika, who lost her husband to cancer a few years ago, was left alone in her house with her only son Michal.
Unfortunately, just a few days ago, the flood took away the only certainty they had left—their home. Through this fundraiser, I would like to try to raise the basic amount needed to help rebuild their home. Please, let’s join forces to help Monika and Michal start anew!
