New teeth after cancer
New teeth after cancer
What will you fundraise for today?
Description
Hi.
I'm not very good at English, as I live in Denmark, so I hope people understand what I'm writing.
Years ago I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, and therefore received radiation therapy, which destroyed my teeth, lungs, metabolism, etc.
My teeth are almost all gone due to the radiation therapy. I have a loose prosthesis (paid for by myself), but it can't stay in place, and falls out all the time when I eat, talk, or anything else. That's why my big dream is to get a prosthesis with implants, so that it stays in place in my mouth, but with my finances, that's not an option at all.
I can't understand why people with cancer can't get it paid for when they are not to blame for the problem at all, but there's no help to be found.
I've also since had cervical cancer, which I also won the battle against. So I think I'll soon be allowed a little success instead of adversity.
And that's why I hope that there are some nice people who will help me with my dream.
I will be eternally grateful to you if this succeeds.
Take good care of yourselves and each other.
