Hello, my name Janka.

As unfortunate as it is, my mental health has reached a point where I became incapable of taking care of myself and my work, hence my position at my current workplace is in danger of being taken away. As I do wish to keep working, and I wish to heal before I could get even worse, I started this fundraiser for three things.

The first would be for my therapy and journey with my mental illness. I’ve been struggling with depression, OCD, BPD all my life, and I’ve recently got diagnosed with autism. I had struggles with addiction and suicidal ideations, which I do not wish to relapse into. Albeit Hungarian healthcare is free, our waitlists are extremely long, especially in the mental health department, hence I will have to take the private clinic route, which will come with a hefty price, about 60 euros per session, roughly estimated.

Aside from my mental health, I’ve been financially supporting my family: my father is unfit to work due to his own health reasons (amputee), but they have a massive debt with my mother which they need to pay for, monthly. As my parents no longer live together, my mother also has to pay for her flat which she is renting on her own: therefore she cannot pay the entire monthly debt, the rent and bills, and the costs of her living on her own. I offered to help, as falling behind on the debt could cause the family home I grew up in to be sold just like that, making my disabled father homeless.

The last half would be for my own expenses: Because of recent housing and personal issues, I temporarily moved out from the flat I rented together with my mother. I am fortunate enough to be able to live at my friend’s place for the near future (unsure how long...!), however I offered to pay the bills in return. Aside from that, I would still need to take care of the monthly groceries, and personal bills that I need to use for my day to day life. (travel pass, phone bills, etc.)

With my current state and my next paycheque, I will be unable to pay for everything I noted down. I wish to start therapy as soon as possible, because if I don’t, I might lose my only source of income soon.

As I am unsure about the exact amount I would need for everything, the amount I set is only an estimate, I might lower or raise it accordingly.

I am infinitely thankful for even the smallest amount of money donated, and I assure you that every last bit will go towards my own health or improvement, or towards the wellbeing of my parents.
