And I am not just talking about a diagnosis, but about the entire burden it brings with it. The parent who has to look their child in the eye and tell them, in a moment of vulnerability, that everything will be alright, even when they don’t know if that will truly be the case. Miruna suffers from alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma, a cruel form of cancer that puts her life at risk and requires urgent complex treatment and multiple surgical procedures. With heavy hearts and an overwhelming sense of helplessness, we are sending out a cry for help. We are not appealing for pity, but for empathy for this little girl tormented by a merciless diagnosis.
