Hi everyone,

When we went on holiday to Hurghada over a year ago, we got to know a really lovely waiter at the hotel called Sameh, and we’re still in touch with him today. 

Most of you can imagine what conditions are like for the working class in Egypt 

€90 earnings (90-hour week) 

€60 for accommodation 

€10 for internet, mobile phone etc. 

& one meal a day if you’re lucky 

Our friend Sameh lost his mum a few days ago & had actually been planning to finally fulfil his dream & go to work in Abu Dhabi, but the hospital bills cost him his entire savings and financial aid in one go – approx. €1,200 

Her last words were: “I think I’ll be leaving before you; please be happy” 

Now that he has no money left due to this financial loss and has lost his job in Egypt, he no longer knows how he can ever fulfil his dream of going to work in the UAE (Abu Dhabi) 

The plan would be a two-month freelance visa, including flights, accommodation and enough for food and living expenses.

I’d love to help him fulfil this dream and raise money for him
