Description
The Institute for Remigration developed the first Demography Dashboard with its own resources. Covering 15 European countries, it makes demographic change visible and allows users to compare long-term projections with remigration scenarios. Dashboard 2.0 will take this work further. We have brought together a committed team and are now raising the dedicated budget needed for the next stage.
Our first priority is regional data. National averages conceal substantial differences between cities, regions and rural areas. We want to show how population composition and age structures vary within countries and how demographic developments differ at the regional level. Our second priority is political demography. By examining naturalisation, voting age and eligibility, we will analyse how the composition of the electorate is changing and develop a framework for political tipping points. We also plan to improve the underlying models, compare a wider range of remigration scenarios and examine more detailed assumptions about assimilation and demographic change. Allowing users to adjust selected parameters is another possibility under evaluation.
Our fundraising goal is €50,000, with €25,000 as the first milestone. Regional demographic data and political tipping points will remain our priorities. Contributions will support data research, methodological development, software engineering, visualisation, testing and documentation. We aim to complete Dashboard 2.0 within twelve months of securing the required funding. The first version provides the foundation. Your support will help us turn it into a more detailed and capable research tool.
Hervorragende Arbeit!
