Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Leo Askar, father of a little girl named Stella, who is 8 years old. Stella has a number of diagnoses, the main one being autism spectrum disorder.

In addition, we are also faced with an eating disorder, sensory impairment, and numerous other challenges that accompany her condition.

Stella is a non-verbal child, but she has a strong desire to communicate – both with us and with her teacher and professional associates at school. We have undergone various tests and consultations with experts, and everyone recommends purchasing a specialized communicator that would significantly help her develop speech and express her needs and thoughts. The device is not on the list of state-funded devices, nor is it on the Croatian Institute of Health Insurance.

Unfortunately, as a family of six, we are currently unable to finance the cost of 1,490.00 euros, which is the price of this device. Therefore, we are turning to you, good people, asking for your help through donations that we will use exclusively to purchase a communicator for our Stella.

Every donation, regardless of the amount, takes us one step closer to our goal and gives our little girl a chance for a better future.

At the end of fundraising and device procurement, we will transparently publish the invoice as proof that the funds were spent exactly as intended.
