Little Simina, aged just 4, is facing an extremely difficult diagnosis: spastic tetraparesis, epilepsy, meningitis and other severe neurological conditions. Although she is so young, she is fighting a battle that no child should have to fight.
In January, Simina was treated at KOC University Hospital in Istanbul, where doctors offered her a ray of hope. However, more than two weeks ago, she contracted a virus in the hospital and her condition deteriorated rapidly. She spent 10 critical days in intensive care, but Simina proved once again that she is a true fighter.
Now she urgently needs to return to Turkey for complex investigations and treatment. The costs are high, and her family cannot cover them on their own.
