My name is Ivana and I am a great animal lover who constantly feels the need to help them.

I have a dog named Max at home who had to have his hind legs amputated after being hit by a car. I had to take him through many examinations, operations and subsequent rehabilitation so that he could get back to at least some semblance of the life he had before. During this period, I encountered many stories of dogs and cats that did not have as "happy" an ending as my Max. Some families did not want dogs or cats with disabilities, and since traditional shelters do not accept such animals, they had to be put down in most cases.

During this period, I began to toy with the idea of creating a shelter specifically for such disabled animals. I kept thinking about how to get started and how to raise the money, until after some time a friend told me about fundraising. That is why I would like to ask you to contribute so that together we can build something meaningful. After all, animals cannot help themselves and are quite dependent on human assistance.
