I'm begging for help - I'm in danger of losing my home where I care for my disabled mother

My name is Bożena Czerkawska and it is with great pain in my heart that I am asking for help today. I have been put in a dramatic situation. My ex-husband, an alcohol addict, despite my pleas for a different form of repayment than was agreed at the hearing for the division of assets, not remembering how I had looked after his mum before she died, decided to give the court judgment an immediate enforceability clause. The bailiff is already carrying out enforcement and in 4 months my house will be auctioned.

This is not just a house. It is a place where I can take care of my 87-year-old disabled mother. Mum has undergone a heart attack, has had bypasses and a pacemaker implanted. Mum underwent major hip replacement surgery in March 2025. Unfortunately, the operation and the long recovery period caused her severe depression. She is now a bedbound person - requiring 24-hour care, a specialised bed, hygiene and individual rehabilitation at home.

I am not able to move her to another place. Our life is here - in this house. And now I could lose everything.

The amount I have to repay is £440,000 (about €100,000), including the bailiff costs, which are increasing day by day. Without this amount I will not be able to stop the auction. Every donation is a step closer to saving our home and giving my mother the peaceful care she needs.

I'm not asking for luxuries. I'm just asking for a chance - a roof over her head and peaceful care for my mum, who has spent her whole life devoted to her family and helping others.
