Costel has been living on the streets of Stoicănești, in Olt County, for years. He is well known to the locals – you see him every day in the centre of the village. He doesn’t beg, he doesn’t cause trouble, and he doesn’t talk much. He has autism and, in addition to this condition, he also has a serious medical problem: he can no longer use his right hand at all, and his left hand only partially.

His life boils down to survival: he eats only when he receives food from passers-by, he has no shelter, no family, no support.

The aim of the campaign is clear:

to provide him with a simple, safe home where he can live in dignified conditions.

A warm place where he can sleep safely, keep warm, wash and live like any human being.

The funds raised will be used for:

• the purchase of a modest house in Olt County;
• the necessary paperwork;
• basic furniture and essential utilities (if the funds allow).

We will personally oversee the process and publicly document the key steps.

Costel doesn’t need pity. He needs a roof over his head and people who will see him and help him.
