Today I published the slide 'ET - what aggravates, what helps (3×3)'. For me, a small dose of alcohol temporarily reduces tremors; excess intensifies them and makes sobriety more difficult (this is an autopsy observation, not encouragement). Safe, familiar surroundings reduce tension; new/foreign surroundings increase it. After the age of 60, the tremors have clearly increased.

I have been struggling with essential tremor since I was a child; a neurologist confirmed the diagnosis in 2003(scan in gallery). I want to undergo treatment with Prof. Mirosław Ząbek so that I can write and eat with my right hand again, more easily and with dignity. Every donation and sharing helps. Thank you!
Who I am and what I am struggling with
My name is Mirosław Konieczny. I have been living with spontaneous tremor for years. In 2003, a neurologist confirmed the diagnosis (a scan of the consultation sheet is available for review).
Why I am asking for help
The condition is not treated causally, medication only sometimes relieves the symptoms. A chance for improvement is a procedure with Prof. Miroslaw Ząbek. I want to regain a calmer head and hand so that I can write and eat with my right hand again - simply and with dignity.
Target and budget
I am raising £60,000 for the surgery and peri-operative costs (research, travel, stay, early rehabilitation).
