Hello everyone :)

Gwiazdka is our beloved cat, who has been with us since 2019, when she came to live with us from a shelter in Jedwabno (Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship). We give her a home full of love and care💖 And we’ll keep doing so for as long as possible, until the end of time! For 8 years, Gwiazdeczka was completely healthy, energetic and full of life...until she was diagnosed with an inoperable tumour on her spine😢😮‍💨 Her paralysed legs prevent her from functioning even to a moderate degree...Having undergone a second round of general chemotherapy, she is waiting with bated breath for the biopsy results, which will allow us to select a targeted therapy for the specific type of tumour, which is unfortunately growing...Gwiazdulka believes she will still be able to smell the spring air, chase butterflies and dig little holes in the sand with her feet. And we believe alongside her! The treatment brings her temporary relief until the next dose of medication is administered between chemotherapy sessions...The very expensive treatment has already exhausted our fund for helping Gwiazdeczka😔 Fate has meant that, whilst always helping our ‘smaller brothers’, we have now found ourselves on the other side...Every penny from kind-hearted people will help Gwiazdeczka survive another day without pain and wait for that long-awaited moment when she can climb onto the windowsill under her own steam and greet the titmice outside the window...

P.S. We already know that Gwiazdeczka’s tumour is osteosarcoma... the worst kind...but as long as there is hope, we will do everything we can to ensure she can live pain-free in the days between chemotherapy sessions... which are, unfortunately, very expensive😔😮‍💨
