🐾 Hi... it’s Lael and Zeeva.

If we could talk, we probably would never ask for help. We would rather just snuggle up to our moms and wait until everything is okay.

But this time we can’t do it on our own.

All our lives we’ve watched our moms help other dogs. I, Lael, have worked as a therapy dog since I was a puppy. I helped dogs who were afraid of the world, teaching them trust and calm. Zeeva didn’t work with other dogs—her job was loving. And debating whether it was already mealtime... or just about to be 😅 For 11 years she has been the heart of our family, a gentle chatterbox who reminds us every day what unconditional love looks like.

A few weeks ago, our moms’ world came to a halt.

First, the doctors found cancer in Zeeva. Shortly after, it turned out that I also have cancer. As if that weren’t enough, I am still undergoing expensive neurological and orthopedic treatment for cauda equina syndrome and spondylosis...😞😞😞

Our moms never gave up and never will. They are doing everything they can. They have already spent over thousands euros just on diagnostics and treatment😱 Now more surgeries, biopsies, and rehabilitation lie ahead...

Do you know what the most beautiful part is?💪🏻🥹🙏🏽

The doctors say we have a really good chance. If everything goes well, we may still be able to enjoy life for a long time😁 – walks, cuddles, falling asleep together, and every next day with our family 🏡

The only obstacle is the costs of treatments 💵

That is why, for the first time, we are asking for help 🙏🏽
