It is with immense sadness that we share that we lost our precious child at 14+3 weeks of pregnancy, after a grueling IVF process, hope, fear, and love.

Our child was born alive but unfortunately too weak to survive outside the placenta.

Although the law does not require a funeral for a pregnancy lost so early, we as parents feel the need to provide a peaceful farewell, a gravesite, flowers, a candle — and a space for grief and remembrance.

The costs that hospitals and funeral homes charge us for embalming, transportation, burial and utilities are more than we can afford.

The total cost is around €2,000, and every amount of help — small or large — will be immensely valuable to us.
