Description
Hello, dear friends!
Today I am asking for your help for our eldest son, Vlad, who needs an operation estimated to cost €25,000.
The news has left us reeling; we don’t know where or how to start, so here we are, asking for your help, asking you to donate for him, helping him to have a normal life, free from pain and physical limitations.
Vlad experienced a growth spurt that led to a 69% curvature of the spine, which is severe at this stage. Although he has been undergoing therapy, has worn numerous braces and has been doing exercises specific to his condition for years, the results have not been as hoped, and so, unfortunately, we have reached this point.
The operation will be performed using medical robotics at Monza Hospital by Dr Thiery Alexandru and his medical team. Initially, we had considered the traditional ‘free-hand’ surgery, but the risks of paralysis and death are high (the operation lasts 10–12 hours), so we looked for another option. And we found it. However, there is no way we can afford this huge sum.
So we beg you from the bottom of our hearts, we implore you, please donate for Vlad – every penny counts! He is a good, well-behaved, obedient boy with no bad habits, a tall, handsome teenager who wants to lead a normal life, to no longer have restrictions on physical activities, and to no longer worry that neurological conditions might develop if he doesn’t have the operation, or that he might lose control of certain organs, or that he might develop lung problems.
Thank you to everyone, and we’re hoping for a miracle!
