Who we are and why we fundraise

We are a group of dedicated volunteers, supporters of K9 Friends Association in Târgu Jiu, an organisation that fights for the rescue, care and rehabilitation of stray dogs and cats.

Current situation

Currently, the association's shelter is overstretched, with limited financial and material resources. The animals are in constant need of food, medical treatment, vaccinations and optimal living conditions. Faced with a large number of abandoned animals and reduced resources, the association relies on our donations to give them a chance at a better life.

Why it's important to us

We firmly believe that every animal deserves a safe home, care and love. For us, saving every abandoned soul is a personal mission, and supporting this organisation is the way we can directly contribute to improving the quality of life for animals in our community.

What the funds will be used for

All funds raised will be directed towards food, medical treatments, vaccinations, de-worming, modernising shelter space and improving the conditions in which animals are cared for. Our goal is to give these souls a safe place until they find loving families.
