On 25 January, a very good friend of mine suffered a haemorrhagic stroke; the doctors didn’t think he stood a chance, and after a very complicated operation he fell into a coma for three weeks, and after a very tough battle, he came out of the coma but developed three bouts of pneumonia and suffered a tear in his trachea, all due to the ventilator. He now faces a very difficult course of rehabilitation at a private centre, which is extremely expensive, and the reason it is being done at a private clinic is because it cannot be done at state clinics as they do not offer the necessary treatment and there are no funds; a private clinic can provide him with all the treatment he needs, and so I beg you with all my heart to help me get my friend back on his feet.
