Association for Students and Citizens of Hajdúság (HAHA)

I have known the staff and volunteers of the Association for Students and Citizens of Hajdúság for decades.

I used to help organise and run their programmes myself, including the Accident Prevention Roadshow, where they campaigned for road safety in partnership with the police.

Using various simulators, safety equipment and educational materials, we have sought – and continue to seek to this day – to introduce and promote a defensive approach to road safety.

Over the past few years, they have continuously upgraded their equipment, so that today they introduce children and young people to the basics of road safety through a truly engaging programme.

As part of their work, they also visit schools in countless disadvantaged small towns, where there is an even greater need for such programmes.

Please take a look at the introduction to the Hajdúsági Hallgatókért és Civilekért Egyesület (Association for Students and Citizens of Hajdúság) and please support their work, which will enable them to reach as many places as possible with their road safety campaign, thereby preparing those who will be on the roads in the future for safe travel, whether they are pedestrians who are completely unfamiliar with the Highway Code, or scooter and bicycle riders who are lightning fast despite not yet holding a driving licence, or even professional drivers.
