Description
Dionysis is a 16-year-old épée fencer whose journey has been long and demanding. His dream is to represent Cyprus at the 2028 Olympic Games, and he is committed to reaching the highest level of the sport.
He completed the 2025–2026 season by winning the Cyprus National Championship and National Cup in the U17 category, securing 3rd place in the Senior National Cup, and representing Cyprus at the World Championships (148th place). During the 2024–2025 season, he won the U14 National Championship and National Cup, the U17 National Championship, and achieved an impressive 64th-place finish at the U17 World Championships.
Pursuing this dream requires significant sacrifices from both Dionysis and his mother. The costs associated with specialized equipment, elite coaching, international training camps, and participation in European and World competitions are substantial. Any funding received will be used exclusively to support these essential expenses and help Dionysis continue his pursuit of excellence on the road to the 2028 Olympic Games.
