“Let’s build the school of the future: new desks, technology for everyone, and classrooms ready for innovation!” Hello everyone, I’m the parent of a child who attends the Marco Polo primary school in a small village in the Salento region. Today I’m writing to you with a dream we want to make a reality together: to transform our classrooms into modern, inclusive spaces that are ready for the challenges of tomorrow. It’s simply unacceptable that, in this day and age, children are still not provided with adequate conditions for their education!!

Why are we doing this?

Every day, I walk into classrooms with old, rickety desks, blackboards that look like they’ve come from a bygone era, and pupils struggling to follow digital lessons because we don’t have enough tablets or computers. I see bright young people who have to share broken or obsolete devices, whilst the world outside is racing towards the future. It’s not fair. We want to give our pupils the tools they deserve to compete, create and learn with enthusiasm.

What will we do with your contributions?



Ergonomic and safe desks: we will replace broken ones and repair chairs to ensure comfort whilst studying.



Interactive whiteboards (IWBs): we’ll transform lessons into engaging experiences, with videos, 3D maps and real-time collaboration.



Tablets and computers for everyone: we will set up a mobile lab with 30 devices, so no one is left behind during coding, design or online research lessons.



Enhanced Wi-Fi connection: because technology without a network is like a book without pages!
