Our cat Wicky, 13 years old, has always been cheerful, playful, and full of love. But this past week, things suddenly took a turn for the worse. He could no longer walk without pain, didn’t respond to touch, and after an emergency examination, it turned out he had a severe blockage and kidney problems.
The vet told us that if we had waited just one more day, he wouldn’t have survived. He was operated on immediately, but he’s now very weak and needs further treatment to recover. Without that treatment, he won’t make it. We’re facing a heartbreaking decision: to continue treatment or let him go. Wicky means everything to us, and we want to give him this chance at life. But the costs are enormous and beyond what we can afford.
That’s why we’re asking for help. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference. Sharing this also helps tremendously. For Wicky. Because he’s not ready to go yet.
