Why does Santa’s car need petrol!?

The “A Cup of Love” campaign is launching again this year in the run-up to Christmas. As part of the campaign, you can sample Santa’s tea in 10 towns across the country. He and his helpers will be waiting for children and their parents at famous patisseries and popular restaurants. Santa is also collecting storybooks in the cafés. He “recycles” these and delivers them at Christmas to towns where there is no library or bookshop.

At the same time, Santa’s car can’t run without petrol!

The car collects books from 10 locations to transport them to Eger, and then the car has to find its way back to Budapest somehow. A total of 600 km awaits Santa and his two helpers, who work throughout the journey to ensure every book reaches the right place.

You can support this car’s journey:

• The car consumes 6 litres per 100 km
• This amounts to a total of 36 litres of petrol, which costs 28,800 Ft
• The two loyal helpers work for free, but they need lunch too to get through the long journey
