This is a fundraising campaign for a one-year-old child whose father was cold-bloodedly murdered by the child’s mother. I am a friend of the murdered man and feel a duty to help his family. He was like a younger brother to me; I was very fond of him, and he is missed not only by me but also by many friends and family members. Fate can be cruel at times, and we must help one another. I know that money won’t bring back our friend, brother, son, grandson and father, but I would like to raise money for the son he left behind, because if his father were still alive, he would want only the best for him, and I believe that if he were in my position, he would certainly take the same steps as I am taking. I want only the best for his son, and I believe that by joining forces we can help raise the amount that I consider appropriate for this situation. It is not a small sum, but nor is it too much for a boy growing up without a father. He does have a mother, but she is in prison and will carry the label of a murderer for the rest of her life.
