Hi, I'm Peter from Hungary, 25 years old, working. What I was thinking about is to buying a house or an apartment around Budapest. Without help it's nearly impossible.(In Hungary you better not have a loan on your name)
Let's see the facts:
Since the financial situation in this country is "not that good" with a normal job 160 hours / month you can only make around 1000Eur, and from this money you have to pay for a rent(400eur), transportation(100eur), food(250eur) etc. If I really save everything and just eat, sleep and work it's still just 250eur/month so in 33 years i will have the money.
Let's say that I'm good with a little apartment, nowadays it can be around 2500eur/m² or above so if I don't want to live in a small hole, it has to be a one room and kitchen+livingroom flat (around 40m²) I need at least 100.000Eur for it.
So if I do the math and save up (and throw my youth away) until I get 55 years old I can't buy an apartment. That's why I'm here.
